Becoming a member of the Greek community, I entered a place on campus that embraced me as I am and allowed me to step into myself as both a college student and a woman. My sisters in Alpha Chi Omega have inspired, encouraged and allowed me to be a woman of passion - through strengthening my resolve to live out our pillars of academic interest, character, financial responsibility, leadership ability and personal development in ways that I never would have imagined, and by helping me find my voice to advocate on behalf of Domestic Violence Awareness.
Being Greek is finding the joy that comes with being part of a community to which all are bonded with loyalty and love; it is finding within us the courage to open up to others and share ourselves more deeply than we ever have before. These facts make the bond of sisterhood one that becomes integral not only to our time in college, but to all of our futures. The joy that we find in these relationships will be reflected in our interactions with others throughout our lives. I am so grateful to have the love, loyalty and support of all of my sisters through all that I do - through celebration or sickness, accomplishment or stress, my time abroad and life. Thank you for the honor of being Greek Woman of the Month!

I was born and raised in Malaysia; growing up in a multiracial nation allows me to respect and treasure every culture. In Marquette, Delta Xi Phi Multicultural Sorority consists the true meaning of sisterhood and multiculturalism. We all come from different backgrounds, different parts of the world, and speak different languages; however, we all have one thing in common: passion for multiculturalism. No doubt we are small on campus, yet we are strong as a whole. It is my honor to be selected as February's Greek Woman of the Month. Being a part of Marquette’s Greek community allows me to learn leadership skills, the responsibility to the community and the balance between studies and extracurricular on campus. This is definitely a great learning experience outside of classes!
Here are some things others say about Wei Tzyy:
"Wei Tzyy is constantly reaching out to other organizations in order to bring the Marquette community together. She has no problem reaching out to others for help and is constantly changing the way our chapter does things in order to improve it. Although we are currently struggling with our membership, she keeps us optimistic with her warm reminders and encouraging words. She is always trying to organize events with other organizations on our campus. We are happy to have her."
